This online course aims to provide basic knowledge about aspects of sexual and reproductive health.

This online course provides information, resources, and tools to support GPs and their practice in their ongoing role to promote and manage clients through the three cancer screening programs (bowel, breast, and cervical).

This course gives an introduction to Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting/ Circumcision (FGM/C) in Australia, to build capacity for health and professionals to respond to women who have experienced FGM/C in their practice. Interpreters, community workers and educators may also find this module helpful. This course has been developed with the Culturally Responsive Health Advisory Group and community representatives to address cultural awareness and is not a clinical guideline.

This interactive online course aims to provide theoretical and live-online simulated training in the insertion and removal of the contraceptive implant Implanon NXT® and provide product knowledge and patient counselling. Implanon NXT® distance education consists of approximately 2.5 hours self-paced, online theoretical pre-reading and approximately 1 hour of small group, live-online simulation practice via Zoom webinar.

This course aims to increase clinicians’ confidence in offering genital examination and assessing normal variations or pathology. Clinicians who complete this course will be able to conduct relevant investigations, diagnose pathology, and treat or refer the patient appropriately.
