Introduction to Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting/Circumcision

This course gives an introduction to Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting/ Circumcision (FGM/C) in Australia, to build capacity for health and professionals to respond to women who have experienced FGM/C in their practice. Interpreters, community workers and educators may also find this module helpful. This course has been developed with the Culturally Responsive Health Advisory Group and community representatives to address cultural awareness and is not a clinical guideline.
