Course outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Explain the aetiology, epidemiology, pathology, and presentation of viral, bacterial, and protozoal STIs
2. Describe known public health interventions against STIs
3. Apply national STI guidelines to screen, diagnose, manage, and follow up
4. Support a patient to participate in partner notification
An electronic Statement of Completion will be awarded upon completion of the course.
This statement can be used to support a clinician’s annual declaration of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours as part of their registration requirements. Minimum CPD hours for completed training: 7
