This communication and resource hub offers clinicians who provide cervical screening services an access point for all program updates, useful information, relevant literature, as well as professional development educational opportunities and guidance on quality assurance activities.

Components of this hub include:

FAQ

  1. Will I receive a statement or certificate? No. However, nurses can document their time spent appropriately on professional development activities within this hub in their own personal CPD record to count against their required hours annually. 
  2. Can I register for this hub if I am not a cervical screening provider? No. This hub is for clinicians who are currently undertaking training in cervical screening or already provide cervical screening services.
  3. How long do I have to access the hub? You will continue to have ongoing access to the hub unless you ask to be removed.

The Clinical Teaching Associate session is offered to all learners who are undertaking the face-to-face Cervical Screening course. It is strongly recommended that novice cervical screening providers do this session to develop their speculum technique as well as hone their communication skills in a live simulated environment.
