Course aims
Participants in this practical one day course will develop skills to deliver sexuality education and support healthy sexual development in young people.
Course aims-
- create a safe and supportive environment to assist children’s healthy sexual development.
- Understand sexual development as a typical aspect of child development.
- communicate with parents and carers about sexual development and personal safety.
- talk to children and adults about bodies and relationships in a gradual, safe, healthy, and positive way.
- Apply best practice approaches in responding to disclosure or signs of sexual abuse.
- Understand best practice considerations for Comprehensive RSE that aligns with Curriculum.
