Course aims
Course aims:
- create a safe and supportive environment to assist children’s healthy sexual development.
- Understand sexual development as a typical aspect of childhood.
- communicate with parents and carers about sexual development and personal safety.
- talk to children about bodies and relationships in a gradual, safe, healthy, and positive way.
- Apply best practice approaches in responding to disclosure or signs of sexual abuse.

Professionals working with children aged 0-12 years and/or their families in sectors such as: early learning and child care, out-of-school-hours-care (OSHC), education, health, disability, child protection and residential care
