Participants in this practical one day course will develop skills to deliver sexuality education and support healthy sexual development in children & young people.

Course aims
- Create a safe and supportive environment to assist children’s healthy sexual development.
- Understand sexual development as a typical aspect of childhood.
- communicate with parents and carers about sexual development and personal safety.
- talk to children about bodies and relationships in a gradual, safe, healthy, and positive way.
- Apply best practice approaches in responding to disclosure or signs of sexual abuse.
- Understand best practice considerations for Comprehensive RSE that aligns with Curriculum.

Payment policy
When registering to attend this course:
- Payment must be made within 7 days of registration
- Registration will be cancelled if payment is not received within 7 days from registration
- Payment is required to secure a position in the course
- Unpaid registrations will not be admitted to the course.
- Notification of cancelled registrations will be emailed to the participant. True is not responsible for travel or other costs resulting from cancelling unpaid registrations
Cancellation fees:
- If cancelling more than 28 days prior to your confirmed course, you will be refunded 85% of the original invoice amount
- If cancelling 8-27 days prior confirmed course, you will receive a 50% refund.
- No refund will be issued if you cancel 7 days or less before your course.
- No transfers will be granted 7 days or less before your course.
- If any session is missed, no refunds or transfers will be granted.
