FAQ

  1. What happens if my training resource kit does not reach me in time for my registered webinar session? Training resource kits are posted express. True endeavours to post kits several weeks in advance of the webinar session. The training resource kit is integral to the live-online simulation component of the course. Therefore, in the unlikely event that your training resource kit does not reach you in time for your registered webinar session, you will be rescheduled to a future webinar session.
  2. I can no longer attend the Zoom webinar session I registered for. Can I transfer to another date or get a refund? In line with True’s cancellation and refund policy, refunds or transfers are only offered if a participant cancels at least 14 days before the course (i.e. the webinar) commences. The nature of this distance education training also requires ample time to supply the participant with the resource kit for use during the course.

  3. What happens if I have technical issues at the time of the webinar? The webinar sessions are designed to be run as efficiently as possible. True encourages all participants to download the Zoom app, create an account, and familiarise themselves with the platform well in advance of their scheduled webinar session. If possible, True recommends doing a trial run to check video and audio. If a participant is experiencing technical issues that are disrupting the session, they will be removed from the session and rescheduled.
  4. How soon do I need to return the resource kit to True? We ask participants to return the resource kit back to True as soon as possible after the webinar session. We have a very limited number of these training resource kits, so the sooner they are returned, the sooner they can be sent on to other participants. True supplies a pre-filled, reply-paid postage bag for your convenience.
  5. Do I need to have prior experience with local anaesthetic administration? Yes. Training in local anaesthetic (LA) administration is not covered in our course. If you are a health professional, we advise discussing with your employer appropriate training in LA use. We are unable to assist in the clinical component of this.
  6. How long do I have to access the online pre-reading? You have 6 months from the date of registration to access the online course content. This is to ensure that you are accessing the most up-to-date version of this content, which is routinely reviewed and updated as required.
