This course is for medical and nurse practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge and develop their clinical skills in reproductive and sexual health, including contraception, cervical screening, sexually transmissible infections (STIs), menopause, men’s sexual health, common gynaecological conditions, and other topics in reproductive and sexual health. Clinical attachment will be offered to successful registrants of the theory component.

This course gives an introduction to Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting/ Circumcision (FGM/C) in Australia, to build capacity for health and professionals to respond to women who have experienced FGM/C in their practice. Interpreters, community workers and educators may also find this module helpful. This course has been developed with the Culturally Responsive Health Advisory Group and community representatives to address cultural awareness and is not a clinical guideline.

This online module provides guidelines for establishing supportive school-based groups for LGBTIQ+ students. This is part of the LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Education: Capability, Confidence & Diversity Initiative series of online learning developed by True Relationships and Reproductive Health.

This interactive course aims to provide theoretical and simulated training in the insertion and removal of the contraceptive implant, Implanon NXT®, and provide product knowledge and patient counselling. The course consists of 2 hours of online theory and 1 to 1.5 hours of face-to-face simulation practice.
